Plunge Pools
A plunge pool is a small, deep swimming pool designed primarily for relaxation and cooling off. Typically measuring 6 to 10 feet in diameter and ranging from 3 to 5 feet deep, plunge pools are ideal for smaller yards or tight spaces. They provide a refreshing escape during hot weather. Their compact design makes them easy to maintain, offering an efficient alternative to larger swimming pools. They require less water compared to larger pools, making them more eco-friendly. Additionally, maintenance is simpler, resulting in reduced upkeep time and costs. Cleaning is also easier, allowing you to spend more time enjoying your pool rather than maintaining it.
Why Fiberglass?
Energy-Saving Insulation Comes Standard
While most fiberglass pools offer durability, PolyTex takes it further. Our insulated polytex pool shells are lined with insulation that helps retain water temperature. This thermal barrier may seem like an upgrade feature, but it's actually part of the standard build! By reducing heat loss through the shell, you can spend less on energy and enjoy more stable water temperatures with less effort.

Added Strength with Polyurea Backing
In addition to insulation, PolyTex pools feature a polyurea-based backing that adds structure to the fiberglass shell. This material supports the pool from beneath, helping it withstand shifting soils and temperature swings. While polyurea isn’t the main component of the pool, it reinforces the overall structure for added confidence over time.
